OUR STORY

The Skrimp Shack story began in 2011, when Mitch and Stacey Hartman founded the American fast-casual seafood brand. The brand soon became known and loved for having the “Fattest Fish Samwich” in town, and for its vibrant, loyal customer base. In 2020, the Hartmans retired and The Skrimp Shack began a new chapter when it was purchased by Chaz Crenshaw and Kevin Harrison. Along with their passion of saltwater hobbies like boating, fishing, and surfing, they all share the same goal- to grow The Skrimp Shack into America’s favorite casual seafood brand. With locally-owned franchises all over the United States (and beyond!), The Skrimp Shack has continued to grow and thrive in the fast-casual restaurant space. High-quality seafood, warm hospitality, and a positive and engaging environment all come together to provide a unique customer experience–a little taste of a beach vacation!
